My husband and I have been eBay members, buying and selling for more than 11 years. Never had any problem, until now. Their new policy is holding the seller hostage and not allowing us to receive the funds for 21 days AFTER the item was paid for, even though we are supposed to ship it. So now, we are out the item that was sold, out the shipping cost to send the item, and out the money we were supposed to receive for the item for 21 days! RIDICULOUS! How many stores would allow you to take a product and not receive their payment for 21 days? This is unfair and puts a real strain on the buyer. Even though we have 100% positive feedback, never had any disputes, and been doing this for 11 1/2 years, they need to verify that we are "trustworthy". Doesn't my feedback and longevity speak for itself? I hate this new policy, and it is completely unfair the sellers who are honest and trustworthy, and have not done a single thing to warrant this. I ALWAYS pay immediately for any auction I've won, and ALWAYS ship an item within 24 hours of receipt of payment, and provide tracking information. This is uncalled for to be treated like a criminal and put on a probation for no reason whatsoever.
