No Way with Rite-A-Way

We called out home insurance warranty company regarding our leaky noisy water heater and this is the company they sent out. They called me to schedule and they were prompt in doing so and came out fairly quickly also. However once out the just cut the
water heater blanket off the water heater and when my husband asked for them to try to save it the guy replied how we don't need it anyways.. Really??!?! Then he goes to the car to write up our estimate and they wanted to charge us $255 on top of what the
insurance company was going to pay them, for "not covered" modifications... So I called my insurance company and they told me that they could cash me out the money they were going to pay these guys, which was $608!!! That is a lot of money so we are going
to purchase and install a water heater on our own without these rip offs. A bigger water heater at that!!! :) Oh yes, I forgot to mention how the guy who came out let us know that his boss did not like doing warranty water heaters as there is "no money" to
be made in doing these jobs... Nice right? Good job Buddy!!
