I was billed by RealtyTrac for one month fee of $49.99 on July 8th. On July 14th, a RealtyTrac representative called me to ask if I want to purchase a 3-month package at $149.99 and get another 3 months for free. So I said: "No. Thank you. I just need the membership for July." I thought I was very clear. However, when I checked my credit card account, I was still charged by RealtyTrac for another $59.99 on July 15th. I called RealtyTrac about the double charges of monthly fee and the representative cancelled the $59.99 charge without much discussion. I am satisfied with the results; however, I think that RealtyTrac needs to operate its billing department better to avoid such mistakes at first place.
