RIP OFF ARTISTS. PRESTIGE MOVING & STORAGE is scam moving companies that will double your estimate!! WESTLAKE VILLAGE California
Quote you an estimate over the phone and then get to your house and say its twice as much money. They give you two choices take their word for it and pay the additional fees or go to a weigh station that is an hour away and have the truck weighed (they try to get you to take the new higher estimate by telling you if the truck weighs more than their estimate you have to pay the higher estimate since its recorded at the weigh station). They told me I was a 1000 pounds over and then when the truck was weighed (the fat driver also was in the truck adding 220+ pounds but of course they said he was only 150 and took it off)when in actuality it was only 300 pounds over.
Not to mention they lost an entire dresser of mine and had my lawyer contact them 21 times and got no response. I will see them in small claims court soon!
