I do not believe this company comes clean in their interviews with prospective clients regarding the fact that they will collect their fees up front before ever attempting to contact one creditor.
I did not contact this company for myself but my parents did and they should have been advised that they could not afford the fees but they were not advised of that. But then agencies in this line that collect their fees up front probably aren't interested in if a prospective client can afford them or not because they will just drain them until there is nothing left.
I do not understand why BBB has no information posted on unresolved issues with this company.
In a phone call with someone representing themselves as one of the "owners" of this company I brought up the points about being deceptive and they strongly denied that being the case saying their system has checks and balances built in through layers of interviews and record ed phone calls that thoroughly explain the program to potential clients.
When I refereed to the negative things I have read on BBB about their industry in general this person responded that BBB is a for profit corporation and that his company could not be a part of BBB because BBB would not allow them into the club.
I was not aware of the for profit status of the BBB but fail to see that fact alone as being a reason BBB would not allow this company to be a member.
This person viewed complaints raised here as nothing more than an internet chat room.
