I will never ever come back here as they were dishonest, rude, and arrogant. In short, they cost me $83 and never even as much as touched my car or repaired anything during the 9 hours they had my car.
I brought my car into Independent Repair for an 8AM appointment. At 10:30 and again at 1:30, I called to request an update on my car. Both times I was told they had not started on my car but it was "next". Finally, I received a call at 4:30. No work was done on my car nor was my car touched. There was an unexplained $55 charge and I was told that I would need to go to the dealer as there were recalls on my car. It took them all day to tell me this?? When I asked for an explanation for the $55 charge, I was told that I should be thankful they didn't do the work and charge me more.
At the end of the day, I was down $83, ($55 charge and $28 rental car) accomplished nothing, and was unable to get as much as a list of the recalls I needed to request from the dealer to fix. If they only could have pulled the recall information up in their computers when I dropped off the car, I could have gone on my way to a dealership and would have thought the world of Independent Repair. Instead, I will never come back.
