I paid $3,900 for a loan modification, and I have seen zero results after about 9 months. Fastlink has not contacted me unless I initiate the call. Everytime I called for a status, I was told that we were almost close to a deal with the bank. Finally I called the bank, and they told me that they had no record of any dealings with Fastlink. After that, I was told that because I contacted the bank that I ruined everything and would have to start from the beginning again. As of May 10, 2010, I was asked to resubit all my paper work again. Luckily, I contacted the bank personally and began the loan modification process myself. The bank has given me some great hope that we can reach some type of loan modification agreement.
