This company is terrible. First of all, it has a BBB rating of F. I check with Florida Consumer Services revealed they also have several complaints filed for this company. This company basically handles the billing for doctor's offices. My wife had a baby and 2 out of the countless bills we received were processed through Kidz Medical Services. AKA Emergency Pediatric Services.
When my insurance company sent a revised claim, my patient responsibility (the portion of the bill we had to pay out of pocket) went from a little over $800 to $10. I contacted the billing company about this and they told me the insurance had no right to revise the bill and the correct amount I had to pay was the $800. They told me the claim could not be processed to multiplan. My insurance verified the doctor was covered under multiplan and they even faxed me documentation from the multiplan website showing the doctor was part of the plan. When I sent this information to Kidz Medical Services, they told me the information was incorrect. I even went as far as contacting the actual office of the doctor who provided services and they too verified the doctor was under Multiplan. This company is shady and in my honest opinion would be shut down. I can only imagine how many people they are over billing every day who don't even think they may be getting over billed.
Like I said, out of all the bills we received from the pregnancy and delivery (there were a lot) only 2 had mistakes and both were from this company. I am still waiting to see whats going to happen with my other bill thats fot over $1,000. Please, if your receiving medical services for anything, check with your doctor to make sure they don't have this company handling their billing, because if they are, they will more than likely over bill you too.
