I ordered a trial product for $3.95 and received the product on Feb 4, 2010. Said on their website if I didn't want the subscription to cancel within two weeks by calling their 866 #. I called on day 8 (Feb 12)and day 9 (Feb 13) to the number listed. I just got an answering machine saying all their representatives were busy and to leave a message. I left my name and email address and told them I wanted to cancel. Then on the 14th of Feb I also emailed to again cancel as I had not heard back from them, but then was billed later that day. When I called, they said I had failed to cancel in the allotted time so was billed $149.95. They refused to refund my money or accept my earlier cancellation.
It is just blatant fraud. This company needs to be dealt with so other people don’t get ripped off. Their trial order is just a ploy to illegally charge you $150. I should get the $150 refund, but they refuse. They also have many complaints against them on ripoffreport.com, and http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/avayo-media-llc-celebrity-white-teeth-c306116.html.
These practices are illegal and should be stopped.
