After several wasted times spent on the phone to stop shipments after the trial period, I sent a registered letter and disputed the charges on my Amex. The hassle with them finally ended, but after almost a year I am receiving hundreds of spam emails from low-lifes that bought my email address from them. I know they sold my email address because 1) I rarely got spam until I ordered from them 2) I have my own domain and I assign specific email addresses to anyone I give my email address to - for example, I gave this company the email address hydroderm@xxxxxxxx.com. The BBB email address to me is bbb@xxxxxxxx.com. Now I'm getting sometimes hundreds of emails a day addressed to hydroderm@xxxxxxxx.com. My mailbox becomes clogged and I'm getting porn, come-ons from foreigners saying they'll send enormous amounts of money if I just send them all my financial information, people marketing all kinds of suspect junk, and anything annoying and vile you can imagine. This company is solely responsible for this situation. NO ONE ELSE WAS GIVEN THAT EMAIL ADDRESS TO SEND ME EMAIL. I give everyone their own addresses so I can see at a glance who sent the email and who gave it away or sold it. This company is by far the WORSE OFFENDER in selling email addresses, and I can prove it was them.
The runaround they put you through and the false claims they make about their useless products are bad enough, but at least those end. I'm going to have to change my domain name and try to circulate it to people and companies I want to have it, just in order to get the avalanche of spam out of my life.
My rating would be a "no star" if I could figure out how to do that. They've ruined my email, my domain, and my privacy.
