On 02-10-09 I paid 1St American Law Center $3,495 for a loan modification. I was very excited and immediately faxed them all the paper work they requested. In March I inquired on the status and after several messages and unanswered emails I was told that my application was handled by a third party. Later that day when I spoke to that attorney he had no idea who I was, nor did he have my file. A few more weeks have passed by, same thing no one would respond, extensions were wrong, could not leave a voice mail(always full), etc.. It got to a point where I send another email requesting a full refund. Fast forwarding to May, I receive an email with an welcome package asking me to send all the information again, telling me that they have to work on my case even though I have requested a refund. Now there are several things I have not mentioned because I will not rest till I get back my money and interest, even if I have to file a suit as a last resort. Its a shame that I have to rate them one star, they don't deserve it. I never posted a review but I fell it's important that some one else will not fall victim to firm who thinks it can get away because they are lawyers.
